William C. McMullen, III

Executive Chairman

​Mr. McMullen joined Whitney Bradley & Brown, Inc. (WBB) in 1994, following a 27-year career in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was promoted to Vice President in 1997 and to Senior Vice President in 1999. He assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer in 2002, President and Chief Executive Officer in 2008, and Executive Chairman in 2017.

During his Marine Corps career, Mr. McMullen held a number of operational and staff positions, including Commanding Officer, Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable); Deputy, Aviation Plans, Policies, Budget and Legislative Affairs at Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps; and Commanding Officer, Marine Fighter/Attack Squadron. His tours included ground combat operations in Vietnam, air combat operations in Desert Storm and contingency operations in Somalia, Rwanda and Burundi, Africa. 

Mr. McMullen graduated from National University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He also holds an M.A. in National Security Affairs from the Naval War College and an M.S. in Management from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI.

 

Robert L. Olsen

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Olsen serves as the Chief Operating Officer and as such is responsible for all business sectors. The business sectors are comprised of the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, and the Federal/Commercial domains.

Mr. Olsen joined Whitney, Bradley and Brown in 2000 as the Manager for Acquisition and Systems Engineering. In 2007, he was promoted to Vice President and was responsible for company's Acquisition Support Product Area. He led that area until 2010 when he was promoted to Senior Vice President where he managed the Acquisition and Program Management Business group. In 2011 Mr. Olsen was promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining WBB, Mr. Olsen had a successful career working for the U.S. Navy. From 1986 to 2000, Mr. Olsen served in government service as a civil servant at Naval Air Systems Command, with the final billet as the F-14 IPT Lead for Precision Strike and Modification/ Assistant Deputy Program Manager. His billets included both engineering and program management functions primarily focused on weapon and aircraft design and integration functions.

Mr. Olsen holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University and Masters of Science from The Catholic University. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Program Manager's Course at the Defense Systems Management College.

 

Wayne Wilkinson

Chief Financial Officer

Wayne Wilkinson is an accomplished leader with substantial experience leading defense, intelligence and technology organizations through periods of rapid growth and development. A government contracting veteran with two decades of experience, his expertise spans all areas of finance, strategic planning, and business operations.

Mr. Wilkinson has held several key roles at various organizations including a data analytics firm, securities and defense firm, as well as an innovative technology consulting organization.

Mr. Wilkinson holds a B.S. in accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University and an M.B.A. from Marymount University. His industry involvement includes MissionLink,  AFCEA International, Association for Corporate Growth, ExecutiveBiz’ 4x24 Cyber Group, Intelligence and National Security Alliance, Potomac Officers Club and Professional Services Council. He has also previously served on the board of advisors of Arrowpoint Corp., Information Experts and Dozier Technology Inc.
