Jack Drohan - Director, Air Force Business Development

Jack Drohan has been recently promoted to the position of Director, Air Force Business Development, effective 21 May 18. Jack brings nearly 30 years’ Air Force experience to the AF Market Team. During Jack’s AF career he served in multiple AF acquisition program offices at Wright Patterson, Eglin and Hanscom AFBs and on the SAF/AQ Global Reach Programs staff. Jack’s last AF assignment was Commander, AF Plant 6, as part of Defense Contract Management Agency. Since joining WBB in 2015, Jack has provided acquisition management expertise to a range of WBB programs and most recently led WBB reachback support to the Position, Navigation and Timing Program Office. Reston-Based Federal Contractor Hosts USAF Mentor-Protégé Workshop

This collaborative event informed potential Small Business protégés and Large Business mentors about the benefits and requirements of the US Air Force Mentor Protégé Program. In addition to learning about the program requirements and advantages, this workshop focused on the advantages and best practices of attaining Quality Management and IT Security Certifications. Small Businesses had the opportunity to meet and network with Large Businesses, allowing eligible protégés to discuss how they could further develop their qualifications thus increasing their ability to compete for prime contract and subcontract awards through the Mentor Protégé Program.
