WBB hosted this seminar as part of our continuing commitment to professional development and thought leadership, particularly on matters of importance to our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) clients. Understanding strategies to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities of information and communications technologies within and used by government information and weapon systems is crucial to the protection of critical infrastructure, a key DHS mission. Critical infrastructure are those systems and assets, whether physical or virtual, so vital to the United States that their incapacity or destruction would have a debilitating impact on security, national economic security, national public health or safety, or any combination of those matters. Through Supply Chain Risk Management, systems engineers can minimize the risk to systems and their components obtained from sources that are not trusted, not identifiable or manufactured from inferior material or parts.

WBB is delighted to be a part of this important discussion and of broadening the community of interest on this topic. For over 30 years WBB professionals have helped hundreds of clients successfully manage their most complex mission-critical business problems. Working closely with our clients, we are able to deliver sustainable, measurable results. Our continuing commitment to help our clients accomplish their missions and objectives in a challenging business environment underpins the decision to host the Supply Chain Risk Management seminar and to continue our partnership with APICS.
